1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
I hope this will be commented, although I doubt it... *sigh* I have been so poor in updating this journal...
My random comment was: I share panties but not bras with my twin.
My questions and answers:
1. And now I want to know why. Or is it just one of those things that kind of happened?
In a way, it kind of happened. We just kept running out of panties quickly, and we never bothered to how they looked (they often were the same make and color), so it just kind of... ran together. The bras, though, are different. They support a very bouncy part of the body, and so must be chosen for extreme comfort. (And also, she can take loose bras while I MUST have underwire.)
2. Your icon, what is it?
Hahaha, I know. I know I suck at making icons, so I just stuck a random picture there. The camera was in sketch mode, which looks very cool, and I was snapping odd pictures here and there of where I work--my university's library. So those tiny lines you see would be books, and the shelves they are on. There are just rows and rows of them (why would I ever type that sentence? of course, it's a LIBRARY), but they are pretty. Especially when they're in order. Shelving books is a good job for me... I can get anal.
3. If you had a battle cry, what would it be?
Hmmm. Tough one. I've always wondered that myself, and since I once took karate, they make you have a sort of "battle cry." My cry (for a girl) was quite loud not at all wimpy or whiny sounding, I thought. So I'd have to go with either wordless screaming like banshees to freak the hell out of them, or low, loud yelling like a man (to also freak the hell out of them).
4. Mythological creature that would be completely awesome if it actually existed?
OH, can the devil count? I've always wanted to know if the devil would be male or female, beautiful or ugly, hateful or apathetic, or what. So many variations in history and television, but to know the actual thing... and as you can tell, I'm a mostly on the non-believer side of religion. But if the devil doesn't do it, then... werewolves would do it for me. Fierce, strong, beastly as the wolf, but on the other hand--tormented (hopefully not) human. Werewolves could have the best of both worlds.
5. What is the breakfast of champions?
The breakfast of champions for me right now is a loco moco. It's a local thing in Hawaii, in which there is a hamburger steak with an over easy egg on top with rice on the side, covered with gravy. Macaroni salad optional. Delicious, fills you up, but doesn't have to weigh you down. After all, if you're going to be a champions, we can't have you patting your belly and napping. Man, this is making me hungry...
And now to the second part....
David Hewlett: God, he is genius divine. :) OK, so I'm influenced by McKay a lot. But David Hewlett is ALL Rodney, and he's paved his career with heartbreakingly adorkable moments. His shoulders, his ass, his Hewlettness. What more can I say? My goal is to meet with him one day, which seems remote, because I am a broke student and cannot pay the extra high tickets to get off the island...
Downloads: Oh, I was wondering how I should go about this. Downloads are special to me, oh so convenient and handy. I can find free ones easily (ok, yes, I am a broke college student, ok?), and if I can download it and save it, then that means it's a part of my life forever. On my computer, waiting for me whenever I need it, unlike streaming
Suits: Wonderful. Suits, on the right type of guy (and that means most guys), are HOT. Has anyone noticed that? I mean, the cut of the shirt, smoothing over the planes of his chest, and the close fitting arms and pants of the whole outfit give it a soothing, gallant air. I love suits. Woo me with a suit. I wish I could wear a suit and be that hot.
University: Well, recently, I've decided that I LOVE university life. I don't have a car but my friends give me rides, I go to school with friendly people and awesome teachers who don't mind chatting at all, and studying become a fun past time. Sort of. It makes me work. And I love it. My uncle said to me last weekend "You're taking summer school? Why do you like school so much? What is wrong with you?" in a joking manner. I had no reply for him. I just like learning in this type of freer environment, I suppose.
Frugality: My wish, my goal, is to be frugal. I've started making myself cheap dinners every night, so I can save my paycheck for something more worthwhile (like going and seeing David Hewlett). I feel as if I'm using up everyone's (and by that I mean my parents and relatives') money, including my own. Gah. I am such a waster. I must save.
German: Have you ever noticed how cool it sounds? I took German 101 last semester, and our teacher was great, so we learned a lot. Es geht mir ausgesichnet (not sure of spelling). It's EASY to learn compared to Japanese, and it is fun. Germany is such a far off country for me, it's a wonder. I would like to visit some day.
Etc...: Hahaha. It's actually a tag. Well... That's for all the other things I love but couldn't think of at the time. I know many people have a shitload of interests and mine feels short in comparison, so the etc... is all the unsaid things. Poor, poor fallen-by-the-wayside etc....
Well, hope you enjoyed. Comment please! Do I sound like a weirdo yet? .....And thanks, sardonicsmiley for the opportunity!
